Training of Trainers (ToT) Course for AI Application Consultants for Businesses

Different from regular technical AI training programs, this course focuses on AI application to help businesses, especially small and medium enterprises, exploit the full potential of AI, focusing on the human factor to improve productivity, quality and make faster and more accurate decisions.

The program starts with the TOT (Training of Trainers) course for 20 consultants in 4 days in Hanoi, providing general knowledge and specific solutions about AI. The 10 best consultants from the TOT course will be selected to continue the practical consulting implementation phase at 05 model enterprises. Here, the consultants will directly advise, deploy and support the application of AI in business operations, from the stage of assessing needs to implementing solutions and measuring effectiveness.

The training course was implemented by the Research Institute for Organization and Digital Economy (RIDE) within the framework of the Productivity Ecosystem for Decent Work (PE4DW) project of the International Labour Organization (ILO) funded by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and the Norwegian Organization for Development Cooperation (NORAD).

Training content

(From June 2nd, 2025 to June 5th, 2025)

The training course consists of 4 days (8 sessions) from date, focusing on equipping participants with knowledge and skills to consult and deploy AI applications for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Each session will include activities such as presentations, group discussions, practical exercises, case studies and quick assessments to ensure participants master the knowledge and can apply it in practice.

    • Afternoon: Optimizing operations with AI

    • Morning: Improve customer experience and marketing strategy.
    • Afternoon: Improve product quality with AI.

Content of consulting practice at the enterprise

(From June 2025 to October 2025)

A team of 10 consultants will support 05 businesses (2 consultants in charge of each business) to pilot the implementation of AI tools directly into their operations. This process aims to promote a deep understanding of how AI can improve productivity, streamline workflows, support decision making and bring practical benefits in terms of sustainable employment for employees in businesses.​

  • Step 1: Training on AI applications in the enterprise environment
    • Provide in-depth training on AI applications for each selected business.
  • Step 2: Assess needs and consult on AI applications
    • Conduct an assessment of each business's specific needs.
    • Advise on the most suitable AI applications to address those needs.
  • Step 3: Connect with solution providers and deploy AI applications
    • Helping businesses connect with the right AI solution providers.
    • Guidance and support during AI application deployment.
  • Step 4: Launch and support the use of AI applications
    • Support businesses to launch AI applications.
    • Provide ongoing support during initial use to ensure effective application.
  • Step 5: Evaluate the effectiveness of AI applications
    • Conduct performance evaluation of deployed AI applications.
    • Collect data and analyze the impact of AI on business operations.
  • Step 6: Review implementation, draw lessons and make recommendations
    • Consider the entire AI application deployment process.
    • Draw lessons learned.
    • Make recommendations to improve future AI implementations.

Dr. Tran Nguyen Cac

An expert with many years of experience in the field of research and development of high-tech products, especially in areas such as AI and digital transformation. He has many years of experience in leadership, management, training, and business management consulting. Dr. Cac has presided over the construction of a product line that achieved a revenue of 50 million Euros after 5 years in the European and North American markets. Currently, he is the president RIDE.

Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hoai

Dr. Hoai is a leading expert in AI and data analysis with nearly 30 years of experience in fields such as evolutionary computation, machine learning, and genetic programming. He has made many important contributions to AI research through hundreds of scientific papers. Dr. Hoai has applied AI and data-driven techniques to many industries. He is also an educator and AI consultant for many large companies and government agencies in Vietnam.

Nguyen Ngoc Que

Nguyen Ngoc Que is the General Director of Edmicro Education Company Limited, a pioneer in applying AI in the education sector. He leads Edmicro to develop breakthrough solutions, typically using LLM models to support lesson design and assignment creation. Applying AI for many years in his products shows his vision in exploiting AI to innovate teaching and learning methods, bringing practical results to businesses and learners.

Tran Thai Giang

Tran Thai Giang is the Director of VDX Company, an experienced expert in the field of consulting and implementing digital transformation. He has in-depth knowledge of technology solutions such as DXP, CRM, ERP and DWH, helping businesses optimize processes and improve performance. In more than 10 years of operation, he has successfully led 36 projects for more than 100 businesses in many different fields, including services, manufacturing and trade, affirming his capacity and reputation in the industry.

 TS. Nguyễn Thế Hoàng Anh

Tiến sĩ Nguyễn Thế Hoàng Anh là Phó Trưởng phòng Công nghệ Thông tin tại Viện Khoa học và Công nghệ Việt Nam – Hàn Quốc (VKIST), Bộ Khoa học và Công nghệ. Ông là chuyên gia hàng đầu trong lĩnh vực trí tuệ nhân tạo, với hơn 15 năm kinh nghiệm nghiên cứu và ứng dụng AI, học máy và giao diện não – máy. Tiến sĩ Hoàng Anh từng giảng dạy tại Mỹ, hiện là giảng viên kiêm nhiệm tại ĐH Quốc gia Hà Nội, đồng thời là chủ nhiệm nhiều dự án AI quy mô lớn do Hàn Quốc, Ngân hàng Thế giới và các tổ chức quốc tế tài trợ. Ông cũng là chủ sở hữu nhiều sáng chế và phần mềm bản quyền, và là khách mời thường xuyên của các diễn đàn khoa học trong nước và quốc tế. 

 TS. Bùi Ngọc Dũng

TS. Bùi Ngọc Dũng là chuyên gia phân tích nghiệp vụ với hơn 20 năm kinh nghiệm trong lĩnh vực công nghệ thông tin và kỹ thuật phần mềm. Ông từng công tác nghiên cứu tại các trường đại học quốc tế danh tiếng như TU Wien (Áo), Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) và tốt nghiệp Tiến sĩ tại Hàn Quốc. Hiện ông vừa giảng dạy, vừa quản lý Phòng thí nghiệm Samsung tại Đại học Giao thông Vận tải, đồng thời là chuyên gia tại Digital Fidelity Vietnam. Bên cạnh đó, ông là người đứng sau hàng loạt dự án ứng dụng AI, blockchain và deep learning vào truy xuất nguồn gốc nông sản, nhận diện khuôn mặt, phân loại phương tiện giao thông và giám sát người cao tuổi – những giải pháp thiết thực phục vụ chuyển đổi số tại Việt Nam.

  

 Ngô Minh Tuấn

Ông Ngô Minh Tuấn có hơn 15 năm kinh nghiệm trong lĩnh vực đo lường, kiểm tra – thử nghiệm, tự động hóa, thị giác máy và robot công nghiệp. Tốt nghiệp Thạc sĩ chuyên ngành Tự động hóa xí nghiệp từ Đại học Bách Khoa Hà Nội, ông hiện đang phụ trách phát triển mảng Machine Vision & Robotics tại Vision AI Tech – đối tác độc quyền của Zebra Technologies tại Việt Nam và một số quốc gia Đông Nam Á. Với kiến thức sâu rộng và kinh nghiệm triển khai thực tế tại các nhà máy FDI, ông Tuấn mang đến những góc nhìn thực tiễn về việc ứng dụng thị giác máy trong kiểm tra tự động, đặc biệt là các giải pháp nhận dạng ký tự quang học (OCR) và tối ưu hóa quy trình công nghiệp bằng AI.
