The journey began with a working session between Tra Viet Tu and the project team on the afternoon of June 23, 2025 in Hanoi.
On the afternoon of June 23, at the tea room of Tra Bien Viet Tu at 30 Nguyen Thi Dinh, Hanoi, the first working session between the project team, experts from the Research Institute for Organization and Digital Economy (RIDE) and Tra Bien Viet Tu officially launched the journey of applying AI to business operations. The working session was not just a meeting, but a cozy tea-drinking space, where tradition and technology meet in the quiet, elegant space of tea.

The meeting was chaired by the Director and Project Coordinator from the Institute for Organizational and Digital Economy Research, with the participation of two AI consultants - Ms. Hoang Ngoc Trinh and Ms. Dang Thanh Mai. Representatives of Viet Tu Sea Tea, with CEO Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Huong and a team of close-knit staff, shared passionate stories about the journey of producing sea tea in Quang Ninh - a land famous for its scenic spots, but few people know that it is also the place that created the first sea tea brand in Vietnam - Viet Tu tea.

Ms. Huong confided that Viet Tu Sea Tea is not just a tea brand. It is a burning passion for bringing tea drinkers not just a drink, but a refined, serene experience. In the space of 2 tea rooms that are elaborately and meticulously decorated, guests can not only enjoy tea, but also immerse themselves in the artistic space: painting, music, and workshops on tea production - all of which are held regularly to be closer to customers.




The meeting became truly special when the project team had the opportunity to survey employees' opinions about their "pain points" in their daily work. This helped the consulting team better understand the opportunities to apply AI to work - from work automation, data management, to optimizing marketing processes. To illustrate the application of AI in marketing, expert Dang Thanh Mai shared a very general overview of command techniques to effectively use ChatGPT/Gemini. The Viet Tu tea team had the opportunity to practice directly with the expert's guidance - which promises to be one of the key training contents of the following working sessions and is highly anticipated by Viet Tu.

Ms. Huong, with her passion for elevating the first sea tea brand in Vietnam, shared that AI will be a useful tool in marketing, from creating content, editing short videos, to analyzing the tea market and identifying potential customers. This is an opportunity for Tra Bien Viet Tu to not only maintain the excellent quality of tea but also expand its influence and connect with new customers through modern methods.

Expert Dang Thanh Mai gave a detailed introduction to the project to support businesses in applying AI, as well as training on general awareness of AI for all employees at Viet Tu. Lively discussions took place among members in the tea room, together identifying the opportunities that AI can bring to improve productivity and work results, especially in building an effective marketing strategy for Viet Tu Sea Tea.
