Training and Connection Conference: Digital transformation and AI application in enterprises for business innovation under Project 844 - Project to Support the National Innovation Startup Ecosystem to 2025, organized by the Research Institute for Organization and Digital Economy (RIDE) and sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
📍Hanoi, June 26, 2025 – At the training and networking conference with the theme "Digital transformation & AI application in enterprises for business innovation", organized by the Institute for Organization and Digital Economy Research, students are representatives from enterprises operating in many different fields and industries such as agricultural enterprises, manufacturing enterprises, trading enterprises,... experienced an inspiring learning and practice journey, from morning to afternoon.

The program officially began with a sharing session by Dr. Tran Nguyen Cac - Director of the Institute for Organizational and Digital Economic Research, providing students with a clear, accurate and updated perspective on the concept of AI, how AI is present in life and business, as well as common misconceptions about this technology.
The presentation helps students understand that AI is not a distant technology, but a useful tool that is ready to serve all business models, from small to large.

Continuing the program, in addition to the presentations presented at the conference, there was the participation of Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hoai - Director of AI Academy with an extremely practical presentation on "Methods of applying AI in businesses". With vivid examples from digital transformation projects in Vietnamese enterprises, he led students through the entire process from problem identification, choosing the right tools, to testing and expanding AI into specific activities such as marketing, sales, supply chain management, etc. The combination of theory and real-life stories made the class lively. Students listened attentively, continuously asked questions and discussed enthusiastically in groups, clearly showing the spirit of learning and desire for innovation from the business community.

After lunch carefully prepared by the Organizing Committee, in the early afternoon, students participated in the Kahoot game to review the knowledge they had learned in an intuitive and interesting way. The classroom atmosphere became lively with the rankings changing continuously after each question. The five students with the highest results were honored and received gifts to encourage their positive learning spirit from the Organizing Committee.

The afternoon session focuses on practical application after lectures and reports full of useful and profound knowledge about the overview of AI concepts, methods, and roadmap for applying AI to businesses in the morning session. Under the guidance of Mr. Vu Duc Chien - Solution Director of VDX Digital Transformation Solutions Co., Ltd., students practice using simple tools to send mass emails, automate customer care processes, and process data from Google Sheets for operational activities. Without the need for programming skills, students can operate on their personal computers with direct guidance from experts.

At the end of the program, Dr. Tran Nguyen Cac returned to the classroom to guide students in approaching the “Prompt Engineering” technique – a key skill when using AI tools such as Gemini or ChatGPT. Students learned how to create concise, clear commands to achieve the desired results, and at the same time compare the effectiveness between current AI platforms. The practical part took place right in the classroom, with simulated situations related to real work such as creating personal finance applications, creating marketing content, or creating photos, videos, etc.
